Nike M4 site by Blast Radius

This site is amazing! Clean graphx/Fullscreen Video/Smooth multidrectional navigation. Really takes Nike sites to a new level. Bravo! Our good friend Jeff D. validates that the site uses papervision for the 3D effects.

Casual boutique offers a healthy dose of pixel play.

Enlisting the services yet again of local design wiz Yugo Nakamura, Japan-based designer/retailer Uniqlo has launched an entertaining and collaborative site for its global audience dubbed the Uniqlo Grid.

Using Nakamura's quirky, pixilated designs, the grid allows visitors to tweak a colorful array of squares in a variety of ways. By just clicking on the "join now" icon, one is immediately assigned a color (though it's fair game on any) and automatically set to draw and dissect with others. Several options abound to manipulate the grid, including dragging your mouse across a square to split it up into smaller bits, clicking, holding and drawing a circle around a group to sprout a larger square image and by double clicking on a square, you can spin it 180 or 360 degrees and change the copy depending on the algorithm.

All the while, a scroll at the top of the page breaks every single move down at warp speed, while at the bottom, a running scorecard constantly charts how many specific people have played around on the grid and how many times it's been altered. As an added bonus, the most fetching designs will eventually be put on display at select Uniqlo boutiques.

Line Rider

This started out as someone's school project. After getting some serious attention across the web, Nintendo is adopting the game for the Wii and the DS.

Simple concept, nearly limitless results. Check it out, its a lot of fun.

The Domino Effect

Here's a clever application and engaging execution of a familiar idea -- the domino effect. While the individual animations are relatively simple, the end result is cumulative and the user has been guided through an array of products in a very entertaining way. There's a soundtrack, so have your audio on. Click on the link and be patient the page will automatically begin animating in few seconds.

For those who don't speak Dutch -- "nog een keer" -- one of two links which appear in a dialogue box at the end, replays the sequence.

And the dominos keep falling...
